The 2025 Marc de Montalembert Prize is awarded to Mr. François Pacha Miran, France, PhD in art history and archaeology of the Byzantine and post-Byzantine world from the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes (EPHE).
The prize, awarded by a selection committee composed of scientific figures from partner institutions, crowns a brilliant career and will allow the winner to further his research on “The art of the illuminated book in the Christian Levant: Cyprus, Cairo, Jerusalem (10th – 13th century)”
He will have access to the Research Centre of the Ecole du Louvre throughout 2025 and he will benefit of the scientific support of a member of the research team.
